What a crazy weather week! I began the week with a quick trip to Philadelphia which had gotten several inches of snow the day before only to arrive back in time for a rare Southern snow storm! On Wednesday it began snowing around noon and by the time I left work at 1:30 everything was covered. It took me 4 hours to get home from my office in Raleigh to home in Durham. The snow kept coming and ultimately we got 6 inches of snow, our office (and schools) were closed on Thursday and we all had to dig out!
I guess the groundhog was correct this year, we definitely got an extra six weeks of winter!

Sunny Sunday
Today will be my first blog ever! It's Sunday morning and I'm blogging with my son, Tyler, who has implemented Sunday blog day for our family. I'm happy to report that it will be in the 60's today and hopefully a good day for a long run! We'll be watching the Super Bowl tonight and think Tyler and I will both be rooting for the Seahawks even though I do like Peyton and think he's a class act.
